Abstract

Näsåker och Resele är två bygder där man nyligen öppnat flyktingboenden. I samband med detta har det skett en organisering i civilsamhället och man har bildat Näsåkers Integrationsgrupp och Reseles Asylgrupp. Den här uppsatsen syftar till att undersöka hur den här organiseringen har gått till, hur verksamheten ser ut idag och vilka utmaningar de engagerade möter. Samt att koppla samman detta med begreppet resiliens för att se möjliga vinster för bygderna. De engagerade har under sin organisering varit enormt flexibla och an-passat verksamheten efter både de lokala förutsättningarna och de asylsökandes behov. De organiserar bland annat svenskundervisning.
De berättelser jag tagit del av visar hur stark personlig påverkan engagemanget för de asylsökande kan ha på de engagerade. Detta samspelar med den relativt höga genomströmningen av asylsökande och det relativt låga och konstanta antalet engagerade. Varje individ som engagerar sig fyller en nyckelroll för verksamheten. Denna roll kan innebära mycket ansvar och det kan också göra dem svårersättliga. Därför är det viktigt att föra en diskussion om vilket ansvar som åläggs civilsamhället, direkt och indirekt.
Organiseringar i civilsamhället som Integrations- och Asylgruppen bidrar till att sociala nätverk bildas och stärks i bygderna. Det kan också öka tilliten och det sociala kapitalet på platsen. Allt detta har positiva effekter på bygdernas resiliens. Dessa värden är viktiga att synliggöra.

Näsåker and Resele are two rural communities where refugees has recently been placed waiting for a permit to stay in Sweden. This inspired an organization within the civil society and the Integration group of Näsåker and the Refugee group of Resele were formed. The purpose of this essay is to examine how this organization has happened, what their activities consists of and which challenges the volunteers face. The essay also aims to connect these themes with the concept of resilience to identify possible gains for the communities. The volunteers are characterized by their flexibility and they have shaped their activities according to both local conditions and the needs of the refugees. For example they organize Swedish classes for the refugees.
The volunteers describe how much it affects them personally to work with the refugees. This correlates with the relatively high number of refugees the volunteers meet and the relatively low and constant number of volunteers. Every one of the individuals working for the refugees has an important role in the activities. This role can mean a lot of responsibilities and make the volunteers hard to replace. Therefore it is important to consider what respon-sibilities that are placed on civil society, directly and indirectly.
Organizations like the Integration- and the Refugee group in Näsåker and Resele contribute to the formation and growth of social networks in the communities. It can also potentially increase trust and social capital. All these things have a positive effect on resilience. The value of this needs to be made visible.
