Abstract

Hållbar bebyggelsestruktur: är något svårt att kvantifiera, kvalitetssäkra och följa upp. Detta kandidatarbete konstaterar att begreppet hållbar bebyggelsestruktur behöver kopplas till konkreta metoder som har sin förankring i vetenskaplig basis och är mindre beroende av politiska och ekonomiska förändringar. Litteratur- och dokumentsökningen inom ramen för kandidatarbetet visar på att det behövs tydliga direktiv samt lättapplicerbara metoder från myndigheter, vilket förefaller eftersträvansvärt i arbetet med att nå den hållbara bebyggelsestrukturen. Vid studier av metoder som Grönytefaktor (GYF) och certifieringssystem som BREEAM Community och LEED Neighborhood förefaller en kombination av dessa kunna leda till övergripande riktlinjer för hållbara förhållanden mellan bebyggelsestruktur och grönyta (densitet) för olika stadsdelar. På sikt kan helheter av hållbara bebyggelsestrukturer skapas, vilka är sammansatta av kvarter som följer riktlinjerna.

Sustainable built structure: something difficult to measure, quality assure and follow up. This bachelor thesis points out that the concept of sustainable built structure needs to be connected with tangible methods that are based on a scientific basis and less dependent of political and economic fluctuations. The literature- and document search within the framework of this bachelor thesis identify the need for distinct directives and methods that are easy to apply formulated by the authorities, which seems to be desirable in the process to achieve the sustainable built structure. A combination of methods such as the Green Space Factor (GSF) and certification systems such as BREEAM Community and LEED Neighborhood might result in overall guidelines regarding a sustainable ratio between the built structure and green space (density) for different districts. In the long term, entireties of sustainable built structures can be created, which consist of blocks that follows the guidelines.
