Abstract

Det traditionella lantbruket minskar mer och mer, gårdarna som fortsätter med lantbruk blir större och mer nischade på antingen djur eller växtodling. Det är många som helt lägger ner sin produktion för att ge plats åt något annat på gården som t.ex. bed and breakfast-ställen, spa, m.m. När produktionen läggs om och företagen nysatsar så är det mycket att tänka på. En ny affärsidé ska arbetas fram och kalkyler beräknas. Syftet med detta arbete var att undersöka tre olika kalkylmetoder nämligen bidrags-, självkostnads- och totalstegskalkylering och se vilken som skulle tänkas passa bäst till företag inom den gröna näringen som funderar på expansion och utveckling. Målet var att ta fram en åtgärdsplan för samma företag i samma fas. Arbetet vänder sig främst till företag inom den gröna näringen, rådgivare och bankfolk. Arbetet görs som en uppstart av en förändring/expansion och därför kommer varken genomförande eller uppföljning att behandlas.
Litteraturstudien börjar med att ta upp entreprenörskap och fortsätter därefter i rask takt med mål, affärsidé, kunder, marknad och produkt. Ett lite längre stopp görs i Magnus Klofstens modell, affärsplattformen, för att därefter fortsätta med resurser, timing, strategi och analyser. I analysavsnittet tas inre och yttre förutsättningar för ett företags möjligheter att lyckas. En del av de inre- och yttre förutsättningarna är SWOT-analysen som också behandlas. Därefter är det i litteraturstudien dags för presentation av kalkylerna bidrags-, självkostnads- och totalstegskalkylering och olika variationer av dessa. Sist i kapitlet kommer ett litet stycke om samarbete.
Efter litteraturstudien kommer metodikdelen där åtgärdsplanen presenteras. I den ingår olika steg och hjälpmedel som är tänkta att hjälpa företag igenom expansions- och utvecklingsfas på ett enkelt sätt. Sedan kommer fallstudien på Rosdalagård som ett exempel på metodiken.
I den avslutande diskussionen kommenteras hela arbetet av författaren som här ger uttryck för sina tankar och åsikter på det som kommit fram i studien. Det framkom av studien att totalstegskalkylen var modellen att föredra med tanke på att den i sin enkelhet är både flexibel och stabil.

The traditional farming is reduced more and more, the farms that do continue with agriculture become bigger and more specialized in production involving either animals or crops. There are many who totally change their production into something else, such as a bed and breakfast or, spa, etc. When production is being diverted and businesses start over in a new direction, there are many things to think about. A new business idea will be developed and cost estimates calculated. My purpose with doing this study was to examine three different calculation methods namely: benefits calculation, self-cost calculation and total step cost calculation and steps to see what would likely be best choice for businesses within the agricultural field who are considering expansion and development. The goal was to develop an action plan for companies in that phase. The target group for this study is primarily addressed companies in the agricultural field, advisers and bankers. The work is done as a suggestion before a change/expansion and will therefore not handle implementation or do any follow-up.
The literature review begins with entrepreneurship and then rapidly continues with goal, mission, customers, market and product. A slightly deeper exposition is made in Magnus Klofstens model, business platform and then proceed with resources, timing, strategy and analysis. In the analysis section the internal and external conditions of a company's ability to succeed are discussed. The SWOT-analysis is a part of the internal and external conditions and will also be brought up in the study. Accordingly, in this study it is time for the presentation of the three calculation forms: benefit calculation, self-cost calculation and total step cost calculation and variations of these. Last in this chapter there is a brief part about cooperation.
After the literature study is the methodology section in which the action plan is presented. It includes various steps and tools that are designed to help companies through the phases of expansion and development in a simple manner. After that my findings are applied to a case study on Rosdala farm, as an example of the methodology.
In the final discussion the entire study is reviewed and the entire and the authors ideas and thoughts on the matter is presented. It appeared in the results of the study that the total step cost calculation is the calculation form to use in the view of simplicity while it still is flexible and solid.
