Abstract

Enligt ÖP2010 kommer industriområdet Öresundsvägen
på Väster i Lund utvecklas till ett bostadsområde med
blandstadskaraktär. Stor vikt läggs vid ett stråk som ska
löpa genom området och fungera som dess ryggrad.
Idag upplevs Öresundsvägen otillgängligt och kopplingarna
till östra Lund är inte särskilt bra. Stråk är ett
begrepp som är beroende av att det används på ett visst
sätt, själva stråket blir till av den rörelsen som utförs
på det. Ett stråk är därför inte kopplat till en på förhand
bestämd sträcka utan den trampas upp av de som använder
det. Detta fick mig intresserad av begreppet och hur man använder sig av ett så användarberoende begrepp inom planeringen.

Syftet med detta arbete är därmed både att skapa
förståelse för begreppet samt att utröna viktiga aspekter
för planering av ett stråk. Målet är att skapa ett principiellt gestaltningsförslag för stråket i Öresundsvägens Industriområde i Lund. Begreppet behandlas genom ett teoretiskt förhållningssätt. Jag identifierar viktiga aspekter utifrån teorin som jag har med mig under arbetets fortsatta gång. Jag undersöker vidare två helt olika stråk i Malmö och Köpenhamn. För en djupare förståelse
inför Öresundsvägens industriområde och dess omgivningar
har jag samlat material både från Lunds Kommun och min tid som praktikant där och genom egna iakttagelser.

Det gestaltningsförslag som följer är sprunget ur den teoretiska genomgången och analyserna av området. För att skapa goda förutsättningar är förslaget uppdelat i tre etapper och dessa behandlar strategier för planering av stråk. I den tredje etappen ger jag även principer för gestaltning av det kommande stråket som jag döpt till Öresundsstråket.

According to the 2010 Master Plan of Lund the industrial
area Öresundsvägen in the west of Lund will be developed
into a residential area with mixed city character.

Today the industrial area of Öresundsvägen is perceived
inaccessible and it doesn’t connect very well with eastern
Lund. Emphasis in the development is therefore placed on a path through the area that will serve as its backbone and strengthen connections with the central parts and give better orientation. Path is a concept that often refers to a physical location, but, the path is constituted of the movement occurred on it. A path is therefore not linked to a predetermined distance; it is trampled by those who use it. This got me interested in the concept and how to make use of such a user-dependent notion within the planning process.

The aim of this work is therefore both to create an understanding of the concept and explore important aspects
of planning a path. The goal is to create a design proposal of principles for the path in the Öresundsvägen industrial area in Lund. The concept is treated by a theoretical
approach. I identify important aspects based on the theory, which I have with me during the continued work process. I also examine two very different paths in Malmö and Copenhagen. For a deeper understanding of the Öresundsvägen industrial area and its surroundings, I have collected material from both Lund Municipality and my time as an intern there and through my own observations.

The design proposal that follows is sprung out of the theoretical overview and analysis of the area. To create good conditions for an increased use of the path, the proposal is divided into three stages were the two first stages could be used as support for local planning.
In the third stage, I also give principles for design of the future path; Öresundsstråket.
