Abstract

Denna studie belyser potentialen i att skapa förutsättningar för sammanlänkning mellan människa, mat och landskap genom kommunal planering. Studien tar avstamp i olika
samhälleliga processer från dåtid till nutid. Studien är geografiskt avgränsad till Hjärups tätort belägen i Staffanstorps kommun, Skåne. I syfte att samla in empiriskt underlag kombineras tre kvalitativa metoder. Dessa är litteraturstudier, fältobservationer och kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Olika tidsperspektiv utgör också ett metodologiskt förhållningssätt. Resultaten visar att odling av mat sker, både småskaligt och storskaligt. Resultaten visar också att olika matperspektiv delvis ingår i den kommunala planeringen. Det visar även att det finns många mellanrum inom tätorten. I studien presenteras olika konceptförslag. En slutsats är att det finns flera möjliga insatser som kan tillämpas för att främja en utökad matplanering i framtiden. This study highlights the potential of creating conditions for connections between people, food and landscape through municipal planning. The study takes different societal processes as its starting point and explores the past and the present. The geographical contextstudied is Hjärup, located within the municipality of Staffanstorp. Three qualitative methods are applied in order to collect data. These are literature studies, field observations and qualitative content analysis. In addition to this, different time perspectives serves as an methodological approach. The results demonstrate that food is produced, in both small and large scales. The result also show that various food perspectives are partly included in the municipal planning. The findings also demonstrate that there are several voids within Hjärup. Various concept proposals are presented in the study. A conclusion is that there are many possible interventions that serve the potential of expanding the food planning in a future perspective. Hjärup that can be further developed seen from a food perspective.
