Abstract

Uppsatsen grundar sig på problematiken kring en ekonomisk rapsetablering. Information och data har samlats in från tidigare fältförsök och applicerats på tre fiktiva fallgårdar för att undersöka utfallet enligt tre olika bearbetnings- och såddtekniker. Genom aktivt samtal med forskare och agronomer i Sverige har uppsatsen sammanställt värdefull information som belyser olika scenarion och utfall kring höstrapsodling. Tidigare forskning har riktad starkt fokus på ekonomin inom fältnivå genom bidragskalkylering. Denna uppsats har däremot även räknat på investeringar och hur dessa påverkar totala maskinkostnaden för lantbrukaren. Utvärdering av alternativ om inhyrning av tjänster har kartlagts för att utvärdera om det kan vara mer kostandseffektivt. Studien visar att det upp till en viss rapsarel är företagsmässigt lönsamt att investera i en reducerad bearbetning med Väderstad TopDown. Tidsåtgång och arbetsbehov inom odling med höstraps behandlas i rapporten och för större produktionsenheter förespråkas reducerad bearbetning.

This study aims to define and evaluate the most profitable winter rapeseed establishment technique for farmers in Östergötland (GNS), Sweden. Throughout the study various methods have been examined in terms of potentials, mechanical and labour costs and profit per acre rapeseed. Earlier studies have shown that a reduced soil interaction has performed high yields and low costs.
This study relies on two fields trials, R2/L2–4141 and R2-4143, which are the most available and accurate data for answering the question. These two field trials consist of gathered data from various locations in Sweden collected during several years.
In order to apply the theories and gathered data, three fictions farms were constructed with different amounts of acres growing rapeseed. Economic of scale and are shown within the different farms showing a minor cost for the bigger farm. The timeliness cost are also calculated and added on each establishment methods total cost.
Growing rapeseed is a major challenge for the farmer and many of the most frequent problems involved are discussed in each establishment method.
The study also focuses on calculating for a farm to invest in a new technology and how it would affect the yield profit. It turned out that the investment was not as profitable as buying the service from another farming company.
The result of this study is that a reduced interaction sowing method of rapeseed is the most profitable.
