Abstract

Denna studie undersöker hur hållbarhetsarbete påverkas av olika faktorer, såsom intressenter samt statliga organisationer. Specifik hur Systembolaget, ett statligt monopol med ensamrätt av detaljhandel på alkohol i Sverige påverkas av olika faktorer. Syftet är att undersöka hur statliga monopolföretags omställning till hållbarhet påverkar och påverkas av omvärlden. Detta för att bättre förstå hur olika intressenter samt formella och informella institutioner har mer eller mindre inflyttande på deras hållbarhetsarbete.

Detta har utförts genom en kvalitativ metodansats som utgjorts av tre ansvarsrapporter samt en semistrukturerad intervju med Systembolaget kommunikations- och hållbarhetschef. Resultatet visar att konsumenterna samt statliga aktörer har störst påverkan på hållbarhetsarbetet. Detta kan hjälpa en förstå hur olika aktörer påverkar hållbarhetsarbetet hos statliga monopol på olika sätt. Studien bidrar med hur olika aktörer påverkar hållbarhetsarbetet i statliga monopol.

This study explores what factors influence the sustainbality praticies of state-owned monopolies and how these entities, in turn by, different stakeholders. This case is fokused in Systembolaget, which holds exclusive right to retail sale of alcohol in Sweden. The aim of this study is to analyse how state owned monopolies sustainabilty transition is affected by the surronding world, as well as how the monopoly affects the surrodning world. This is to gain a better understanding of how different stakeholder as well as formal and informal institutions have more or less influence on the sustainabilty practices.

To achive this a quantitive study has been conducted by analysing three ”responaiblty reports” as well as an interview with the chef of communications and sustainablity at Systembolaget. The result is the consumers and the stately stakeholders have the larges influence. This can help one understand how different stakeholders affect the sustainablity practices by state owned monopolies in different ways.
