Abstract

I skrivande stund tar Åre kommun fram en fördjupad översiktsplan för samhällena Undersåker och Brattland. I samhällsplanering används grön infrastruktur som metod för att bevara biologisk mångfald, genom att bibehålla eller öka konnektiviteten mellan viktiga grönområden. I denna studie har ekologin för brunkulla Gymnadenia nigra, större vattensalamander Triturus cristatus och rynkskinn Phlebia centrifuga undersökts genom litteraturstudier. Baserat på arternas ekologi har ett förslag på kartering av grön infrastruktur tagits fram för Undersåker och Brattland. Förslaget för grön infrastruktur sammanfaller för större vattensalamander Triturus cristatus och rynkskinn Phlebia centrifuga men inte för brunkulla Gymnadenia nigra. En jämförelse mellan den framtagna karteringen av gröna infrastruktur och förslag till grönstråk som baseras på en naturvärdesinventering har gjorts. De av naturvärdesinventeringen föreslagna gröna stråken bedöms inte ta tillräcklig hänsyn till ekologin för större vattensalamander och rynkskinn, men tar hänsyn till brunkullans ekologi. Studiens metod, att vissa naturvårdsarter som är av särskild vikt för ett område väljs ut och att kunskap om deras ekologi används för framtagande av grön infrastruktur, föreslås användas i kombination med uppgifter om områdets natur – exempelvis via resultatet av en naturvärdesinventering och via historiska ortofoton.

At the time of writing, the municipality of Åre is planning the development of the communities of Undersåker and Brattland. In physical planning, green infrastructure is used as a method to preserve biological diversity, by maintaining or increasing connectivity between important green areas. In this study, the ecology of Gymnadenia nigra, Triturus cristatus and Phlebia centrifuga was studied through literature. Based on the ecology of these species, a suggestion of mapping of green infrastructure was produced. The suggestion of green infrastructure regarding Triturus cristatus and Phlebia centrifuga coincides with each other. The suggestion of green infrastructure for Gymnadenia nigra does not coincide with the other two species. A comparison was made with a proposal for green strips that are based on an inventory of nature values. The study shows that the ecological requirements for Triturus cristatus and Phlebia centrifuga are not fully met in the green strips suggested by the nature value inventory. The green strips for Gymnadenia nigra corresponds to the requirements of the species. The method of this study, that certain species of conservation concern that are of particular importance of a region are selected and that the knowledge of their ecology is used for the development of green infrastructure is proposed to be used in combination with information about the nature of the area – for instance through the results of a nature value inventory and through historical orthophotos.
