Abstract

Gamblingbranschen är en problembransch där människor skadas rent ekonomisk men också socialt när organisationerna inom branschen är aktiva. Trots detta är engagemanget för organisationerna redovisar sitt sociala ansvarstagande lågt.
Denna här uppsatsen har som syfte att undersöka vad inställningen till det sociala ansvarstagandet är inom branschen och hur organisationerna arbetar med frågorna idag för att ta reda på varför engagemanget för ett redovisat socialt ansvarstagande är lågt. Genom organisationsteoretiska teorier om hur organisation organiserar sig som institutionell teori, CSR-pyramiden och intressentmodellen har ett teoretiskt ramverk tagits fram som kan förklara de externa tryck som påverkar organisationers sociala arbete med fokus på CSR. En fallstudie av organisationen Abios Gaming genomfördes under 9 veckor där empiriinsamlingen skedde genom två semistrukturerade intervjuer samt deltagande observationer på arbetsplatsen. Abios är verksam inom gamblingbranschen där organisationen säljer data, widgets och odds till gamblingbolag.
Slutsatsen visar att organisationer blir påverkade av sin omgivning, där omgivningen är dynamisk och multipel. Omgivningen är samhället som organisationen är aktiv inom och den bransch som organisationer är verksam i. Varje organisation måste tillfredsställa de två omgivningarna för att uppnå framgång. Varje omgivning tillfaller olika intressenter vars krav och förväntningar är annorlunda, vilket påverkar hur organisationers sociala ansvarstagande utvecklas.

The gambling industry is a sin stock where people are harmed financially but also socially when the organizations within the industry are active. Despite this, the commitment to the organizations reporting their social responsibility is low.
The purpose of this essay is to examine what the attitude towards social responsibility is within the industry and how the organizations work with the issues today to find out why the commitment to a reported social responsibility is low. Through organizational theory theories about how organizations organize themselves as institutional theory, the CSR pyramid and the stakeholder model, a theoretical framework has been developed that can explain the external pressures that affect organizations' social work with a focus on CSR. A case study of the organization Abios Gaming was carried out over 9 weeks, where the empirical collection took place through two semi-structured interviews and participant observations in the workplace. Abios is active in the gambling industry where the organization sells data, widgets and odds to gambling companies.
The conclusion shows that organizations are affected by their environment, where the environment is dynamic and multiple. The environment is the society in which the organization is active and the industry that organizations operate in. Every organization must satisfy the two environments to achieve success. Each environment belongs to different stakeholders whose demands and expectations are different, which affects how organizations' social responsibility is developed.
