Abstract

Detta kandidatarbete baseras på ett projekt som har uppkommit i ett samarbete mellan Hällåkra Vingård och Sustainalink, tidigare Miljöbron Skåne. Projektet rör ett område i slänten på ägorna, där stigen till vinodlingarna på andra sidan bäcken går. Det är en yta som i nuläget inte utnyttjas, och ägarna har utryckt en önskan om att utveckla ytan utan att planera in överdrivna skötselinsatser. Frågan om det är möjligt att på ett hållbart sätt välja växter utefter ståndort, som dessutom ökar besöks- och vistelsevärdet på platsen har lyfts, och likaså reflekteras det om hur man skapar en gestaltning som passar platsens ståndort och förstärker dess karaktär. Platsbesök med ståndortsanalys genomfördes under 2021-2022 för att kunna basera gestaltningsarbetet på platsen och dess unika förutsättningar. En mindre litteraturstudie har genomförts för att kunna välja beprövade metoder och växter med stöd av relevant litteratur. Resultatet av arbetet är en plats- och ståndortsanalys som ligger till grund för gestaltningsförslaget som kan vidareutvecklas i framtiden för att användas på området på Hällåkra. Förslaget innefattar växtlistor, modulsystem för perenner samt ett förslag till mix av lökväxter.

This thesis is based on a project which is a collaboration between Hällåka Vingård and Sustainalink, previously Miljöbron Skåne. The project is regarding an area of a slope on Hällåkra Vingård’s land where the path to the viticulture goes and then continues on the other side of the stream. It’s an area which is not utilized at the moment, and the owners have voiced a desire to develop the area without any extensive maintenance in the future. Questions regarding the possibility to choose plants sustainably for the specific site, which also increases the recreational and aesthetic values have arisen, and reflections regarding how to create a design suitable for the site which enhances its character has been done. Visits to the site has been done in 2021-2022, and a location analysis was made so the design work could properly be based on the actual site and its specific conditions. A lesser literature study was conducted to provide proper information regarding suitable methods and plants for the site. The visits and the location analysis were used when making the design and the suggestions for the site. The resulting collection of plant suggestions and plans for the area etcetera can be used for future development of the site. The suggestion includes plant lists, module-systems for perennials and a suggested mix of bulbs.
