Abstract

Strukturella förändringar i svenskt lantbruk har skett de senaste årtionden. Från 1992 fram till 2014 minskade lantbruksföretag från 100 000 företag till 67 000 företag. Där en stor del av minskningen beror på att företag har slagits ihop med större lantbruksenheter. Stordrift och rationalisering har lett till ökad arbetsproduktivitet och ekonomisk maximering (Hajdu et.al 2020).

Syftet med examensarbetet var att se hur ledarskap utövas på lantbruksföretag i Skåne.

En kvalitativ metod har genomförts på nio personer. Där tre av dem är förmän inom gris, tre är förmän inom mjölkkor och tre är driftledare på växtodlingsgårdar. Intervjuguiden är semistrukturerad, där frågorna varit bestämda innan intervjuerna ägde rum. Under en semistrukturerad intervju finns det möjlighet att utöka frågorna så att fler svar täcks upp (Klingberg och Hallberg 2021).

Under resultatet har frågorna motivation, ledarskap och medarbetare redovisats. Där frågorna om medarbetarsamtal, hur de motiverar sina medarbetare och hur de själva såg på sitt ledarskap, var några av frågorna som stack ut.

Diskussionen visar att det inte finns någon enhetlig ledarstil i lantbruksföretag. Utan alla respondenter hade olika ledarstilar. Däremot i någon intervjufråga blev svaren någorlunda samma från respondenterna.

Sammanfattningsvis går det att dra en slutsats om att ledarskapet i lantbruksföretag i Skåne ser olika ut eftersom alla respondenterna som intervjuats till examensarbetet anses ha olika ledarstilar.

Structural changes in Swedish agriculture have occurred in recent decades. From 1992 to 2014, agricultural enterprises decreased from 100 000 to 67 000 enterprises. A large part of the decrease is due to the merging of enterprises with larger agricultural units. Large-scale operations and rationalization have led to increased labor productivity and economic maximization (Hajdu et.al 2020).

The purpose of the thesis was to see how leadership is exercised on farms in Skåne.

A qualitative method has been carried out on nine people. Three of them are supervisors of pigs, three are supervisors of dairy cows and three are managers of crop farms. The interview guide is semi-structured, where the questions were determined before the interviews took place. During a semi-structured interview, it is possible to expand the questions so that more answers are covered (Klingberg and Hallberg 2021).

Under the results, the questions of motivation, leadership and employees have been presented. The questions about feedback, how they motivate their employees and how they themselves viewed their leadership were some of the questions that stood out.

The discussion shows that there is no uniform leadership style in agricultural enterprises. All respondents had different leadership styles. However, in some interview questions, the answers were more or less the same from the respondents.

In summary, it is possible to draw a conclusion that leadership in agricultural companies in Skåne looks different because all respondents interviewed for the thesis are considered to have different leadership styles.
