Abstract

Förekomsten av broar och tunnlar är idag viktiga komponenter i den svenska stadsbilden,
detta för att få städerna att fungera. Syftet och målet med följande studie är att med hjälp av
förståelse för god belysning, bidra till brotts- och olycksprevention samt trygghetskänslor,
men även att undersöka hur tekniska lösningar för belysning på broar och i tunnlar utformas.
Undersökningen resulterade i att begreppet god belysning kunde förklaras, användas och
utnyttjas för att på bästa sätt ljussätta broar och tunnlar i förhållande till trygghet och säkerhet.
God belysning bidrar även med att förebygga brott och olyckor samt att ge besökarna och de
som nyttjar platserna trygghetskänslor. Slutligen kom studien även fram till att
projekteringsstadiet var ett viktigt moment inte bara för planeringen av god belysning utan
även för underhållningen av god belysning.

Today´s occurrence of bridges and tunnels are very important components of the
Swedish cityscape for a functioning city. The purpose and goal of the following study is that
with the help of understanding good lighting there is a possibility of contributing to
prevention of crime and accidents and to examine how technical solutions for lighting on
bridges and in tunnels are designed. The research resulted in how the term good lighting could
be explained, used and utilized to illuminate bridges and tunnels in the best possible way in
regards of safety and security. Good lighting also contributes with the prevention and crime
and accidents as well as provides the visitors and they who use the places with feelings of
security. Finally, the study arrived at the conclusion that the stage of projecting was not only
important for the planning of good lighting but also for the maintenance of good lighting.
