Abstract

A forest management plan is a tool for the forest owners to manage their forests according to their goals. The aim of this degree project was to investigate how forest owners use their forest management plans. The study was performed in collaboration with Stora Enso Skog AB. A web-based questionnaire was designed and sent out to 986 private individual forest owners.

The compilation of this study aims at creating a greater knowledge of how the management plans are used and to develop the concept of management plans within Stora Enso Skog AB.
