Abstract

De kalkyler som idag finns att hitta inom ämnet hästavel skiljer sig ifrån varandra. Ämnet diskuteras hett på sociala medier och i branschen. I denna intervjustudie undersöks kalkylerna ställs i relation till vad fackkunniga och verksamma inom området säger. I intervjuer med fem uppfödare identifierar vi både vilka kostnader som faktiskt finns, vilka av dessa som är lätta att glömma och storleken på dessa kostnader. Tydliga trender kan utläsas av uppfödarnas svar och av studien kan man identifiera problematiken av att sätta en schablonkostnad på något som skiljer sig så från uppfödare till uppfödare. I tabellen nedan sammanställs kostnaderna för några av de poster som intervjustudien behandlat och spannet på hur de skiljer sig mellan de fem uppfödarna. I kolumnerna innan vad litteraturstudien har gett för storlek på samma kostnad enligt LRF och Hästsverige. I sista kolumnen kan man tydligt se vilka kostnadsposter som ofta glöms bort av uppfödare på förfrågan om kostnadsuppföljning.

The calculations that are currently found in the subject horse breeding differ from each other and from what you hear. The topic is discussed hotly on social media and in the industry. In this interview study we investigate the calculations and put them in relation to what the skilled and active in the business say. In interviews with five breeders, we identify both the actual costs, which of these are easy to forget and the size of these costs. Clear trends can be read by the breeder’s answers, and the study identifies the problem of setting a standard cost of something different from breeders to breeders. The table below summarizes the costs of some of the items treated by the interview study and spans how they differ between the five breeders. In the columns before what the literature study has given for the same cost according to LRF and Hästsverige. In the last column, you can clearly see which cost items are often forgotten by breeders on request for cost follow-up.
