Abstract

Lean Produktion är resultatet av den arbetsfilosofi som familjen Toyoda under 1800-talet tillämpade inom sina vävstolsfabriker och som sedan vidareutvecklades inom
industrin och tjänstesektorn. Under 1940-talet grundades bilmärket Toyota, filosofin togs med in i bilindustrin och blev senare hyllat av hela världen. Idag har Lean
implementerats i en del andra industrier, konceptet har också på senare tid nått lantbruket.

Studien grundar sig i Möllegårdens Morötter AB:s nuvarande produktion. Anledningen till att företaget vill ändra sin produktionsfilosofi grundar sig i att intresset för rotfrukter och grönsaker har ökat betydligt de senaste åren hos konsumenterna mycket på grund av den ökade efterfrågan av vegetariska produkter. Periodvis krävs då mycket personal vilket sätter press på ett effektivt ledarskap och väl fungerande produktionsprocesser. Genom att ha tydligt strukturerade mål finns möjlighet till långsiktiga effektivitetsvinster inom produktionen. Genom Lean-kollen
som är ett nulägesanalysverktyg har en webbenkät tagits fram, som rör verksamhetens olika delområden. Det var 14 respondenter som svarade anonymt på webbenkäten. Enligt analys och sammanställning av svaren togs ett nuläge fram som utgångspunkt i implementeringsprocessen. Intervju med ledningen gav vägledning till vilka mål och visioner som företaget har. Tillsammans med nulägesanalysen och
mål/visioner kunde ett riktvärde tas ut som indikerar på vilka delar av produktionen som behöver prioriteras vid förändringsarbetet. Målet är att göra en strategisk plan
för hur implementeringen ska ske i företaget.

I litteraturstudien beskrivs uppkomsten av Lean och dess uttryck vad som ligger till grund i uttrycken och vad de innebär. Under slutet på 1800-talet grundlades många av de hjälpmedel som idag används i stor utsträckning inom Lean-arbetet av familjen Toyoda. Lärandet av filosofin har funnits med i generationer inom företaget och är idag världsledande inom bilindustrin. Fortsatt i litteraturstudien förklaras innebörden av de Lean-verktyg som används i studien: Lean-kollen, 5S-modellen, PDCAcykeln,
VSM (värdeflödesanalys), visualisering, samt 4P-modellen och dess 14 principer. Dessa går alla att använda i ett lantbruksperspektiv.

Genom ökad förståelse för Lean-filosofin inom verksamheten kan processkartan över implementeringen vara till stor hjälp vid uppstart. Med bättre teamkänsla och tätare ledarskap inom företaget kan problemområden bidra med förbättringar inom delområdena som gynnar produktionen långsiktigt.

Lean Production is the result of the work philosophy used by the Toyoda family during the 19th century in its loom mills, which was further developed in the industry and the service sector. In the 1940s, Toyota was founded, the philosophy
was brought into the automotive industry and was later acclaimed by the whole world. Today, Lean has been implemented in some other industries, the concept has
recently reached agriculture.

The study is based on Möllegårdens Morötter AB's current production. The reason the company wants to change its production philosophy is based on the fact that the
interest in root vegetables and vegetables has increased significantly in recent years. Much due to the increased demand for vegetarian products. Periodically, a lot of
staff are required, which puts pressure on efficient leadership and well-functioning production processes. Having clearly structured goals is the opportunity for longterm
efficiency gains in production. The Lean-Kollen, which is a present-value analysis tool, has developed a web-based survey that covers the various sub-areas of the business. There were 14 respondents who answered anonymously on the web site. According to analysis and compilation of the answers, a present value was taken as the basis of the implementation process. Interview with management gave
guidance on what goals and visions the company has. Together with the present value analysis and goals / visions, a guideline value could be taken which indicates which parts of production need to be prioritized in the change work. The goal is to make a strategic plan for how the implementation will take place in the company. The literature study describes the origin of Lean and its expressions. What is the basis of the expressions and what they mean. By the late 19th century, many of the tools currently used to a large extent were founded in the Lean work of the Toyoda family. The philosophy has been developed for generations within the company and is today the world's leading automotive industry. Continued in the literature study explains the meaning of the Lean tools used in the study: Lean-Kollen, 5S Model, PDCA Cycle, VSM (Value Flow Analysis), Visualization, and 4P Model and its 14 Principles. These can all be used in an agricultural perspective. Through increased understanding of the Lean philosophy within the business, the
implementation map process map can be of great help at startup. With better team spirit and closer management within the company, problem areas can contribute
improvements in areas that benefit production in the long term.
