Abstract
The purpose of this study was to compare ground damage caused by forwarders and the amount of costs of the preventive measures that occurred. A number of sites located in Värmland, Sweden were inventoried during the field work. Also a number of phone interviews was performed.
The result shows the connection between the costs that occur to prevent ground damages and the amount of ground damages.
This study is made for Mellanskog and is a part of the project Skonsam drivning.
